What To Expect

Take the first step. Knock on the door of an Ultrasound Mobile and you will be welcomed by warm, friendly individuals who are there to help. You will be asked a few questions. Relax; these questions are a good opportunity for you to take a step back and assess where this pregnancy stands in your life.

In order to confirm whether you are pregnant or not, you may receive a self-administered pregnancy test, you will use the Mobile’s restroom and know the results immediately. If the test reads positive, we can schedule an ultrasound at an appropriate time.

Those requesting a limited ultrasound are taken to a private, comfortable area where the ultrasound is performed. (Yes, your guest is welcome to watch, too!) This will confirm the pregnancy, estimate a due date, determine fetal age and, if desired, even provide a picture of the tiny baby.*

Once the tests are completed, a peer counselor will be available to discuss the options you have: terminating the pregnancy, establishing an adoption plan or parenting the child.

Leaving the Ultrasound Mobile, you’ll most likely feel better knowing a bit more about the decision ahead. But we don’t stop caring for you once you walk out the door! Pregnancy Solutions & Services is available to support you through the decision making process.
